These rugs do not get dirty very easily so you don't need to wash them every week. Every few months is enough. For matting of the hair, you can use a bristle dog grooming brush and just brush through the sheepskin hair which will get rid of the matted hair and make your sheepskin fluffy and nice once again.Hand wash and hang dry or dry clean.
